As a dance artist and community activist, my work is inspired by personal journey and movement investigations. My choreographic development is stimulated by creating a dance community that depicts real events as a path to exploration of movement being a form of communication. My work arises and carries on with questions that ask, who I am within the community, and how can I represent the "tangible" events in the finished product? By testing my dancers and myself with these questions, at the start of my process, it allows for larger improvement in personal development and my work as an artist.
